New York Fashion Week gave us trench coats remixed in leather, tweed minis from Kim Shui, quilted puffer ball gown skirts from Brandon Maxwell and springy hues from Michael Kors.

But at L&C, we know these fashion drops aren’t just for dog moms.  So for our Spring Pup Street Style Trends Report, we are injecting our recommendations with a hefty dose of NYFW.

Oh! And because we know how much dog moms love to TWINNEM we found these affordable finds for you and your pup!

Trench Coat Classics

A timeless classic, the trench coat has always been the perfect accessory for Spring.  Practical, classic and always on trend, this wardrobe staple was featured on and off the runway this season.

Tweed Mixes And Matches

I’ve always associated tweed separates with Chanel.  From long cardigans to this Spring’s pastel minis and dresses from Prabal Gurung, tweed done right is always sophisticated.  And now so are you.

Quilted Coats

Spring temperatures are guaranteed to raise and fall but you and your pup’s fashion doesn’t have to suffer too.  I absolutely love the idea of reinterpreting the puffer fabrics seen on the runways of Brandon Maxwell and Khaite into light quilted coats for dog mom duos.

Pops Of Pink

It may seem cliché, but is it even Spring without pops of pink?  This season’s favored hue was given an extra boost thanks to iconic dog mom duo, Elle Woods and Bruiser.  Their bubble gum pink was seen all over NYFW this year and we are here for it!
